History

From the beginning till today

How it began ….

In 1947, the visionary entrepreneurs Nicolaas Jan Korg Gidts and Tibor Feldman began importing low-cost automation products. Gradually, the focus shifted towards instrumentation, and since 1952, the product range has also included filtration products (technical textiles).

In 1981, the company relocated to Almere Haven to accommodate increased assembly and storage needs. The new location provided opportunities for expansion through partnerships with globally renowned top brands.

At the end of 2023, the company moved into its new premises at Huchtstraat 41 in Almere and expanded its workforce with specialists in all areas of expertise. With this growth, DGF Group strengthens its position as a leading player in the process industry. The new facility offers modern amenities and a strategic location in Almere, contributing to further innovation and service excellence.

Imperial Valve

In 1992, Imperial Valve Ltd was established as a subsidiary of De Gidts & Feldman. This subsidiary supplies instrumentation valves, specifically double block & bleed valves, and protective enclosures.

Initially, production was solely based in the United Kingdom, but since 2004, manufacturing has expanded to multiple locations across Europe. Since 2010, Imperial Valve B.V. has managed exports through a select network of distributors.

Anaparts

In 1995, Anaparts was founded by Ronald Bakker, the current CEO of De Gidts & Feldman Group. The primary product line includes BFI flame monitoring, supplemented by in-house manufactured sampling panels. In 1996, Anaparts relocated to Almere, facilitating further growth.

Anaparts has since expanded its offerings to include smoldering, fire, and hot-spot detection and counts all major electricity producers among its clientele.

Virago Valves

In 1997, Ronald Bakker partnered with a valve supplier, including Alfa Valvole, to establish Virago Valves. In 1998, Virago Valves also moved into the current complex at De Steiger in Almere, which serves as the headquarters for the entire Gidts & Feldman Group.

After that Virago Valves rapidly evolved into a solid provider of fittings and valves.

The Gidts & Feldman Group

In 1998, Ronald Bakker and the owner of De Gidts & Feldman decided to merge, forming De Gidts & Feldman Group, incorporating Anaparts and Virago Valves. This consolidation provided the market with a single point of contact for a comprehensive and diverse product range.

In 2011, De Gidts & Feldman Group was renamed DGF Group N.V., serving as the holding company for De Gidts & Feldman B.V., Imperial Valve B.V., Virago Valves B.V., and Anaparts B.V.

….. till today

At the end of 2013, De Gidts & Feldman became a distributor for Honeywell Process Measurement & Control, a significant and well-suited addition to its product portfolio. The range was further expanded to include products from Honeywell Analytics, Honeywell Elster, and Honeywell Gas Technologies, earning De Gidts & Feldman the designation of “Honeywell Diamond Channel Partner.”

With an extensive product range from top-quality manufacturers, De Gidts & Feldman is now more capable than ever of supporting the industry in process instrumentation, detection, and valve solutions.
